CURRENT PROGRAMS,

SERVICES, and EVENTS

  • H.O.M.E.sm (Helping Others Meet Expenses) Homeless Prevention Emergency Assistance Program provides rent and utility assistance.  (As of June 30, 2022, no new rent and utility requests are accepted.

  • Transport Support Services provides senior citizens, in need, living in Arlington, along with a travel assistant, round trip Via transport at no charge to medical appointments, shopping excursions, and other necessary destinations.

  • Monthly Support Services provides families at the Arlington Life Shelter food, toiletries, and detergents.

​​

  • Spiritual Support Services provides encouragement to families at local shelters through prayer, follow – up sessions, and You Are Loved notes (John 3:16) attached to gift items.

  • Volunteer Support Services is provided to Tarrant County Homeless Coalition and the Arlington Police Department for the annual Point in Time Count mandated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Since pandemic began in 2020, TCHC determines community Point in Time Count participation.

  • Community collaborations with community partners such as businesses, churches,  and nonprofit organizations to provide professional and spiritual counseling, hair care, fitness, automotive services, special occasion celebrations, and other support services to help families as they transition from homelessness to wholeness.

FUTURE PROGRAM

H.O.M.E.sm (Helping Others Meet Expenses) Homeless prevention extended program helps eligible families by providing rental assistance while completing virtual stewardship classes.  After successfully completing this program, families are encouraged to participate in volunteering and/or donating to help other families transition to wholeness.

FUTURE SEGUE LIVING CENTER

EMERGENCY SHELTER

Segue Living Center will be a state of the art facility located in Tarrant County that houses families with children in a faith-based environment.  Families will receive quality, professional support services as they transition to wholeness.
