January

  • Voyage Dallas Magazine featured Janet Y. Williams, Founder of Segue Living Center, homeless journey story in January 11, 2022 issue.

  • Segue Living Center team along with Segue Legacy Partner, Samaria Richard of Ms Samm’s Tea supported LaShunda Brackens-Denby, owner of Dynamic Royalty Empowerment Group, at the New Year Community Party in South Dallas for families on January 1, 2022.

  • Segue Living Center team along with Segue Legacy Partner, Samaria Richard of Ms Samm’s Tea supported Larry Curry’s Metro Fieldhouse MLK Jr Day Celebration family community event at UTA athletic fields on January 17, 2022.

  • Provided support services to about 100 families at the Arlington Life Shelter.

  • Segue Living Center team along with Segue Legacy Partner, Samaria Richard of Ms Samm’s Tea supported McIntosh Chapel Black History Community Family Event

  • Segue’s Walk A Mile In My Shoes Community Family Event at Vandergriff Park was attended by several community partners that served over 35 families with food, clothes, gas cards, family services, and resource information.

  • Established community partner connection with Tarrant County  College South Campus Family Empowerment Center.

APRIL

  • Provided support services to about 100 families at the Arlington Life Shelter.

  • Provided support services to about 100 families at the Arlington Life Shelter.

 

June

  • Provided support services to about 100 families at the Arlington Life Shelter.

  • 6Eleven Apartment Homes Summer Family Bash served over 10 families with clothes, food,  and family resource information.

  • Provided VIA Rideshare assistance to family.

 

July

  • Provided support services to about 100 families at the Arlington Life Shelter.

  • Supported Spread the Love Ministries and Fielder Church outreach team fellowship and cookout for individuals and families impacted by homelessness downtown Arlington.

  • Provided VIA Rideshare assistance to family with new job.

  • Established community partner connection with Kingdom Builders Christian Church

  • Supported Larry Curry’s Metro Fieldhouse Sports Back-to-School and Family Wellness Event.

  • Comet Cleaners, Segue’s community partner, made sizable clothes donation that impacted families in DFW metroplex and out of state.

  • Provided support services to about 100 families at the Arlington Life Shelter.

  • Jazzi Kids Boutique owned by Mrs. Jasmine Jones,  Segue’s Health Board Advisor, donated new clothes to Segue Living Center for over 20 families registered at the Larry Curry’s Metro Fieldhouse Back-to-School Family Wellness event in July.

  • Furniture donated by local philanthropist to Segue Living Center for a family in need.

  • Provided emergency assistance with gift and gas cards to family with medical need.

  • Established community partner connection with Community Learning Center, Inc. and ACH Child and Family Services.
